The particle-izer utilizes multiple tool steel, carbide tipped, and stainless steel cutting tools mounted in specifically shaped tool holders, which are arranged to form a geometrical pattern around the circumference of the rotor assembly to efficiently utilize the cutting energy. The efficiency of the cutting action reduces temperature rise within the material being processed.
Features include:
- D2 hardened bed knives are positioned to take advantage of the material flow being processed through the unit.
- Heavy gauge carbon steel and stainless steel perforated screens of various sizes are available for sizing classification of material being reduced.
- Available in carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, abrasion-resistant materials, and other construction materials. All welded housing is available for easy, clean designs.
- Unit sizes are available to meet most application requirements. Model sizes available are 10″, 15″, 22″, 30″, & 48″. Special configurations will be considered.
- Motor sizes to suit application requirements from 5 hp to 75 hp. Because of the rotor configuration, the motor horsepower requirements can be, in some cases, ¼ that of conventional knife cutters. Rotor speeds are selected to suit application requirements from 75 to 3000 rpm.
Complete equipment system packages, including Cyclone and Bag House Dust Collection, Feeding Devices, Particle Size Classification, and System Control Panels, are available.
